My wife and I started Chartering with Len when it was just the two of us. He and his wife Debbie are the nicest, most accommodating people on the Cape. When it was just the two of us, they were one of the only fishing boats that would arranged a split Charter. Now, ten years and three kids later, we almost have a full boat! We have been taking our kids out since they could walk, we always trust Len to provide a safe, fun trip.

I had to send this. I spent two of greatest days on the water this past week on two separate trips, with two different groups of guys and I can’t tell you enough how great it was.

The first trip was with John D. and the boys on an afternoon ½ day. I was skeptical about a late start time but he proved to be right on the mark to put us right on fish. Within fifteen minutes we were slamming stripers left right and center. We could have limited out in no time flat but we put some cows in the box with a few keepers and spent the rest of the day catch & release. It was fantastic.

The second trim was a 5 am start with Matt’s Landscaping and his team and it was even better. We were in some big rips and Jay found a sweet spot for about 100 ft. He paraded us back and fourth on that spot and we limited out by 7:30 AM. I have to say he had his work cut out for him. There were some 10 and 12 ft. holes in that rip and never once did we even come close to falling in. Man we were on the edge though. Between grabbing fish, untangling lines and keeping us safe he showed that he is on hell of a captain.

Then it got better. We got up close and personal with the seals. Trolled through some working birds and then hit on some boiling bluefish for awhile all on the way home.

It doesn’t get any better than that.

Thanks for the trip. Once again you pulled it out of your hat. I’ve never seen anyone work as hard as you did to put us on fish. And talk about fish. Philip will have fish for the winter.

Dear Len, I want to compliment you and your crew Capt Jason for giving relatively inexperienced bass fishermen for one of the most memorable fishing trips of our lives. Capt Jason was more than professional, he was warm caring and a great teacher. He didn’t give up till we all had our bass and this was not the top of the season. Your boat the Megellan was by far the nicest boat I have ever fished on.
